The launch of the Falcon Heavy Rocket by SpaceX this week inspired a new generation with the wonders of space travel and the advances in aerospace technology that have been made since the 1970s era technology that defined the U.S. space shuttle program.  With the end of the shuttle program, which saw its last launch in July of 2011, the excitement surrounding space travel seemed to doubly rebound.  The images of 2 rocket boosters landing simultaneously was one of the most dramatic displays in aerospace technology that I’ve seen in nearly a decade.  Congratulations to SpaceX and all of the aerospace engineering employees who celebrated a victory today!  We celebrate with you!
